Are there other memorial projects underway? Yes!

• We’re touched and delighted that there are several others initiated by mathematicians/the department: thank you, one and all!
• We’re adding to the already excellent music collection at the Urbana Free Library.
• We’re improving our favorite/nearby local park, Carle Park.
• We’re supporting brain cancer research (which is underfunded compared to other cancers) at the Malnati Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern University. (Tom received excellent care there and donated his biopsy tissue to their library.)
